Flash Math Playgrounds

Nowadays it is becoming standard practice for flash developers to show off their experiments in the form of an experimental playground on the web. Unfortuneatley out of the thousands of playgrounds that exist on the www, only a handful stand out from the crowd and recieve worldwide acclaim, for example Praystation, Flight404 and Wireframe. These sites pushed the envelope with original and inspiring experiments. Suprisingly in the past week, i have recieved lots of links to sites that want a plug in my news, but only two of them caught my eye, Eric Lin’s Flash Math Experiments was the first, complete with lots of complex actionscript experiments, including such things as 3d, mazes, skewing, masks, rubiks cube, games & physics. All of which have associated tutorials and downloadable files. Ximensions was the second site, a site that archives Flash Math experiments that deal with the subject of applying physics in actionscript, containing alot of interesting particle effects, and actionscripted motion.

    Shu Player allows you to distribute your AIR Applications to users that dont have the AIR Runtime by converting them to standalone applications. Shu Player also adds more commands to do things like open external applications etc…

    If you hate the Adobe Updater like most of us, then just get rid of it.
