mx.transitions.TweenExtended

There are numerous actionscript tweening classes available for download and use in the Flash Community, which one you use is all down to personal preference but my understanding is that most people use either the Actionscript 2 Macromedia Tween Class (mx.transitions.Tween) or (mx.effects.Tween) the Actionscript 1 Laco Tween Prototypes.

Personally, im a fan of the Macromedia Tween Class’s, but ithey do have there limitations and the Laco Prototypes offer more functionality. Some people would say that the Laco Prototypes are also easier to use than the Macromedia Tween’s, but im against polluting the MovieClip’s prototype unless absolutley necessary, so i wont use them.

Anyway, one of the main features that the Macromedia Tween Class is lacking, is the ability to tween multiple properties of a movieclip using one instance of the tween class. My friend George has released a TweenExtended class that extends the Macromedia mx.transitions.Tween code allowing you to tween multiple properties with one instance of the class and alot less code.

You can download the class and many more goodies at our website:
