Im jumping on the bandwagon late, i know. But for those of you that dont know (not many of you i would imagine), Macromedia released an updater for Flash MX 2004 on Monday codenamed Ellipsis, bring Flash up to version 7.2. This update aims to solve outstanding issues in three main areas:
- Documentation
- Performance & Resource Usage
- Components
The Flash Team have fixed over 120 bugs and made numerous additions to the application. A complete list of the resolved issues and addtions can be found in the release notes.

I must mention that i recommend anybody using Flash MX 2004 7.1 should update a.s.a.p, compilation speeds have improved alot and some of the niggly bugs that we have been living with have also been fixed.
