So after a very successful Flash 8 Poll, over 2400 votes and counting, it seems that Flash Developers and Designers alike, all over the world, are waiting in huge anticipation to see if the Macromedia Flash 8 Player provides better actionscript performance. Over 30% of voters (730), a large percentage of people are looking forward to better actionscript performance and 17% of voters (364) people are excited about the proposed video capabilities of the new player that may allow us to create Flash Video with alpha channels. Im as excited as everybody, although my vote went down for Bitmap Filters.
